Top Toys tests toys with children, for children and we do it very well.
We work with a wide range of children of different ages. They have different needs and abilities and different cultural and family backgrounds.
The thing they have in common is they enjoy testing the toys and once they are able to speak, they are happy to voice their opinions. All of the children are carefully observed as they play and the team of expert appraisers know if a toy has long lasting appeal, is safe to be played with unsupervised, does what it is supposed to do and more!
Top Toys has successfully completed its second year of Toy Testing and we have grown considerably from our first year, with more companies taking part in the testing process.
Published in the Independent Newspaper’s Parent Supplement has meant we have been available to a circulation of 182,000 which translates into a readership of 560,000! This year for the first time we will be appearing in the ‘Gift Guide’ that will be in the ‘i’ newspaper on Saturdays leading up to Christmas. We have a few toys showing on December 3rd.
Our tested toys have come from a good mix of new companies, small companies and from the bigger, popular companies.
Toys will be accepted for testing with children from March 1st until May 21st.
Results will be available in September.
The toys are being tested for Christmas unless they are more suitable for Easter or the Summer Holidays.
We are hoping to have some toys in a publication for both Easter and the Summer break.
